Joseph Chase Wildeholde is the first born to Sonic & Jane, and the older brother of Venus. Generally, he is close with his family, though being the closest to his mother. He was taught super speed by his father but fire manipulation was something that he picked up unexpectedly (considering neither does Sonic or Jane have that sort of power), however it does make him immune against any burns. Joseph is very independent and arrogant, as much as he looks up to his parents -- yet he is also protective, especially of his little sister Venus and his girlfriend Andi. He's got a heart of gold despite it all and would've done anything to help anyone in need. Just like his father, he also has a rival named Ryan the Hedgehog who has the power of electricity -- make that being his weakness.

Joseph has still got a lot to learn, but he's getting there with the help of friends, family & of course his rival.
