I offer you an olive branch
Prepared to just move on

They say a heart that can forgive
Is far superior
But times like these I end up feeling
More inferior

Yet time and time again
I can't let myself ignore
The want to resolve problems
Regardless of how they occur

Why is it the better person
The one who makes the move first
Can never be forgiven
It seems forgiveness is a curse
