-Water Respiration: Hinako can breathe underwater but with a time limit of 3 hours. She then needs to rest on land for about an hour to get her energy back. After all, she's not a fish, she's a human with Lionfish abilities

Hinako is extremely kind to both good and bad people. She hates getting into arguments and often agrees with other people's opinions as she always keeps other people's happiness her top priority. She gets easily hurt when someone teases her or when she sees someone close to her suffering mentally and/or physically and would do anything to help them out. Hinako is very shy due to her being a sea creature otaku. Otaku's are frowned upon in Japan but when someone makes fun of her love for sea life, she has an urge to give that person a long speech about it as she is very passionate about the creatures that live in the sea. Hinako is very passionate about her dream of one day becoming a Marine Biologist and often day dreams about the future.

Biography:
Hinako's parents left Hinako and her big brother in the care of her grandparents, and left for Sapporo to take care of some business for their restaurant. Hinako pretty much spent most of her childhood in the hands of her grandparents who lived near the sea in Hakodate. She grew close with her grandmother who loved the sea so much that she decided to tell Hinako about her youth and how she went on a submarine to study the sea creatures that live down below. Hinako was very interested in her grandmother's stories that she fell in love with the sea just as much as her grandmother did. Hinako spent most of her time reading and learning about the sea and what lives in it. She was so fascinated about what she learnt from each book and documentary she had seen that there was no stopping her from learning more.

When Hinako turned 6 the family restaurant called Okizaki was built. Hinako's parents took her and her brother back with them to Sapporo. Hinako wasn't very delighted with the family restaurant as it serves seafood. Because of her passion for the sea life, she started to hate seafood and decided never again to eat it. She wasn't very happy with her life in Sapporo, she would rather go back to her grandmother who shares the same love for the sea. When she turned 10, Hinako's grandmother died of old age. Hinako was extremely disappointed and would often lock herself in her room, crying. She then received a letter from her grandmother. She probably wrote it before she died, as if she was ready. Hinako's grandmother wrote about how happy she was about Hinako's passion for the sea creatures that she'd do anything to protect it, she wrote about how she'll always be in Hinako's heart, she also told Hinako to always stay happy even when she's not around. Hinako was touched by her grandmother's letter that she vowed to always be kind and happy to other people.

As Hinako grew up into a teenager, her eyes are set on becoming a marine biologist to learn more about the sea creatures and how to help them. She attends Sapporo Kita High School as a first year and has very few friends that she talks to, but none of them are as close to her. She doesn't hate or like school that much as she only goes to school to learn and not to get involved too much with anyone else. She often never leaves her room because she is too busy learning about sea life. A pretty normal life for an otaku such as herself.

Relationships:
Mother (Natsumi Okizaki): Hinako and her mother get along like any mother and daughter should. Natsumi supports her daughter with her love for sea life and thinks it's fascinating. She's also quite surprised to see Hinako studying too much than any normal teenager should. With that said, she often brags about her daughter being a "genius". Loves both Hinako and Yamato equally.

Father (Eijiro Okizaki): Hinako and her father have a normal father and daughter relationship. Just like Natsumi, he often brags about Hinako being a "genius" and that he's not too worried about her becoming a hopeless child, like her older brother. He's very proud of her.

Older Brother (Yamato Okizaki): Yamato is 2 years older than Hinako and is the complete opposite of her. He cares more about his popularity than his grades which angers their father and he's often being compared with his sister. Although, he doesn't really mind it, but he teases his younger sister a lot about being an otaku. He relies too much on her to help him with his science school work, even though it's at a university level. Other than that, he's a good brother who protects his sister from bullies and supports her.

Niece (Hana Okizaki): The accidental child of Yamato and his ex girlfriend. Her mother wanted to have an abortion but Yamato refused and decided to raise her by himself if his ex wanted to get rid of her. Despite having Hana, Yamato still goes to school and does a part time job at a host club, hoping that he can become a better dad once Hana is all grown up. Hinako helps take care of Hana since she is still a few months old.

Grandfather (Sousuke Gotou): From Hinako's mother's side. Sousuke is a very kind and loving man who took care of Hinako when she was a child, along with his wife. Hinako and Sousuke are very close and often keep in touch via video chatting.

-She is based off of Tsukimi from Kuragehime.
-When she was little, her parents and her grandparents called her Umi Hime-sama (Sea Princess). That's pretty much how she got her username xD
