I love "Fruits Basket"! I've watched the whole series over many times, and I've read the manga. It is my favorite anime!

For whatever reason, even though the manga was INSANELY popular in the US and was on the New York Times best-seller list multiple times, and Tokyopop released a LOT of (crappy) merchandise and re-re-re-released the manga in several different formats, the Fruits Basket fandom barely exists...I remember Furuba had a moderate following back when people still used Geocities and the anime had just been released stateside (that was my first exposure to the show) but it's weird...you're literally the only person who got what my username is a reference to, even when I had Tohru as my userpic people didn't know what it was.
