Depends what OS you are running, it is different for all of them. These are in .ico and PNG formats. If you are on a Mac you'll need a tool to convert them. Here is a link to help you change them on windows [link]

great icons, but this are the old google icons. Here are the new one: [link]
but the icons have an white border you can't remove easily, so you can't use them on your desktop. Could you remove that white border, and make icons of them?

thanks

Actually I am in the process of doing all of these icons. With more icons in the old style as well (for those people who like the older style) Seems like this Deviant is just nabbing these from Google. Is that right? The ones I'm working on are 256 x 256, and are created from scratch.

I recently completed some work for [link] and they are now using the icons from my latest set (if you are interested in seeing a preview). I will post to DA in the next couple of weeks.

Note, when I post them on DA, they are not for commercial use. If you want to use them for commercial use, please send me a message privately.

Thanks! Yes, i think that deviant is nabbing these from google, because on his google buzz he makes an post when he founds a new icon. The url from the icon is something like [link]

Hi =tempest,

I am the developer of a Firefox Extension called "Google Shortcuts", that provides nice little iconic buttons displayed on your toolbar for every Google service out there ([link] ). Currently, I am using the favicon of the services for my buttons. These ones are a little bit small. I really do like your artwork and I just was wondering, if you are interested in helping to build larger icons for all the services I've got in my extension.

I'm looking forward to hear from you!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ChadJackson In reply to GoogleShortcutsFF [2010-03-26 15:08:34 +0000 UTC]

I just installed your extension. Very well done. I would be happy to help out with supplying icons for your project. I could certainly tackle it. What sizes are you using... looks like 16x16 and 24x24? Is that right?

Thanks,
Chad

GoogleShortcutsFF In reply to ChadJackson [2010-03-26 18:52:49 +0000 UTC]

Hey, I'm really glad you like my extension and also would like to build some icons!

Currently I have 16x16 icons, which are good for small icons under Windows. For the normal icons I need 24x24, as you expected.

Maybe we could open an issue over at [link] to stay connected.

Thanks,
Soeren

First of all Great Job on these and the rest of your work...

Hey I am working on a well put simply its a clone of Mozilla Prism... And I would like to use some of your icons including many from this pack in particular in my application... I would apprciate a yay or nay if I may distribute your icons inside the main exe of my application... The application is classified as "Free-Forever" as in I and my publisher for the program will not be making any money off of the app. In addition if you agree, full credit for the icons and a link to your deviant art site will be duely added to the about window.

Hope to here from you soon and no matter what you decide know that your icons and other works are impressive as hell!

ChadJackson In reply to mattatobin [2010-02-02 07:09:04 +0000 UTC]

Heya Matt, thanks for the kind words. What will be the name of your application? Provided everything you've said is accurate, I have no problem with you using the icons in exchange for credit and a link in the "about" window. If you need anything else, just let me know.

mattatobin In reply to ChadJackson [2010-02-02 11:01:01 +0000 UTC]

The application is called. Neutrino Site Specific Browser, Its created by Binary Outcast: Code Works (aka me) and published by Se7en Soft, the creator of a new application called Task Se7en(which is not free) but All Binary Outcast Code Works Applications are what I call "Free-Forever" that is that no one may sell it or profit by it in any way shape for form and it will never become pay-ware or any of that junk. The reason I am seeking people to help distribute my modest applications is for greater visibility then I would get on my own...

Neutrino is like I said a .net clone of Mozilla Prism, The idea is to have say a separate window with just a specific site in it such as your favorite radio station streaming or perhaps a uStream Broadcaster window. These will run each in their own process and not be reliant on keeping your browser open. The current goal is to try and match every feature prism has and it has a few of its own such as using the Trident Rendering Engine (Internet Explorer engine) instead of Gecko Rendering Engine (firefox engine). For at least the gecko side of things it in no way touches firefox or your profile. Trident is evil but I added the compatibility just in case you want to have a site specific browser window open to a site that is Internet Explorer Only... such as well, I don't have a good example.

But in any event I want to use your icons because even though i will (eventualy) get the ablity to use the sites favicons and custom icon import like prism. Favicons are small and I wanted to include a few high resolution icons and since google seems to be the leader of web based applications platform I knew they would be in high demand.

If you wish to see the Code Works information page its located at [link] however its in private beta at the moment... But I could compile a build for you if u'd like to check it out.
