This was a monster. Not only did I try a new style and a new coloring technique, I had a hell of a time thinking of a composition. I wanted them closer but they ended up covering parts I really liked. This is the Archer, the Valkyrie, and the Sorceress from Gauntlet: Dark Legacy.All cyharacters© Midway.

The names I came up with for the archer and Valkyrie are Robina Hood and Valerie, respectively. Robina Hood is, you guessed it, the great-granddaughter of Robin Hood. The elf ears, of course, are because her mother was an elf. Valerie (Val for short, so as not to confuse her with her class), on the other hand, is a Valkyrie-in-training, who has completed her training as of the game's events. She is very shy, but will fight when she has to. I did not come up with a name for the sorceress, but her story is she is Merlock (the yellow wizard), Sumner (the ghostly wizard who narrates the game), and Garm's former teacher. She taught them all that they know about magic. She has been cursed by Skorne with eternal life without eternal youth.

This was by far the best Gauntlet game ever. I wish they'd remake this in HD with better graphics and animation. And I have to admit, back when I was a kid I loved to pick Sorceress, lol. I remember the ad in mags that said something like "play 4 players with your friends except one of you has to be the chick" and I thought "how is that a bad thing?" lol. I wish there was more Gauntlet fanart, maybe I'll try my hand at it some time.

Can anyone link me to more Gauntlet fan art. I've searched up and down the internet, and can't seem find more. There seems to be a severe deficit of fan art for these games.

I know the valkire is the only char that weilds a sword. Enter in Bat900 on a new data. U then get to play as the general from the battlefield stage when u go and fight garm. And that general weilds a sword. and its a male

well, i believ your coloring technique for this worked pretty well, i like all the shining and good use of lights.
