It looks like a pumpkin head. Some times when an artist is out of ideas,
that artist recycles some parts of past works into some new works.
I am guilty of this circumstance myself sometimes.

Sculptris is pretty cool, especially for symmetrical modeling, but if you need to create more complex meshes which are not symmetrical I think Meshmixer is the way to go. And you can always use both.
I tend to use Meshlab a lot if I want to flip an object b/c it's the only 3D program I have found which can do that: Take an object I've made and flip it along the X access to create 2 symmetrical halves of something, or two wings, arms, etc. if I already have a nice wing or arm model I want to use for both sides of a character...

I'm very happy to hear that you tried out Digital Sculpting. I need to learn Zbrush sometime too. (Sculptris is the free version of Zbrush of course)
