Trying my hand at some 3D modeling for the first time in Sculptris! This program is great! I know a fair amount of Maya and have dipped my toes into Z-Brush, but this dragon head was my first attempt with Sculptris, and the fact that it feels like a simpler version of Z-Brush is perfect.

There's a bit of a learning curve with the Z-Brush interface because there's just so much to get used to if you're used to Maya's interface...but I started with a ball and a few hours (and tutorials) later I ended up with at least a recognizable dragon head. Baby steps and progress. Definitely going to be doing more of these.
