Description So, I know it's no longer October or 2014, but I still finished my Inktober run because I said I would.

We all know what this challenge, or any challenge, is about.. I don't think it's about "when" you finish, so long as you simply finish, and finish strong. I learned a lot about just drawing again..and I think that's the point. So, I'd call this a success. Happy New Year! Keep drawing and creating!

cheers,
~Chad C.

I love this, the linework is so fluid. How did you do it?

Thank you Most of the time I ink directly into Photoshop with my Wacom tablet and pen, but for these Inktober pieces I've been drawing and inking on paper, then bringing them into Photoshop and cleaning them up. The benefit of drawing directly into Photoshop with the Wacom is that the lines don't require cleanup.

What are your scanning settings or setup? And what do you do when you put it in Photoshop? Because most of my traditional pieces don't always turn out as good.

All of the scanner settings are the default ones except I always make the dpi 300 or higher (normally with 8.5" x 11" paper). Just try to make the lines as clean as possible on paper first and when you bring it into Photoshop, completely desaturate the image, so you have purely black and white, then gradually go through the image and make any lines that have jagged edges have clean edges. 90% of it is just practicing over and over to get your lines to be cleaner initially.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try to keep that in mind.
