Oh, fantastic! Though I must say it looks difficult to wield... Are those feathers at the top actually painted over? Because they truly are incredible. This is an amazing work of composition overall.
I know a little about Mannanan mac Lir... one of the gods of the original supernatural tribes of Ireland, along with Danu, the Dagda and others. The 'fairies' as they were originally conceived (or existed) were/are a lot more lively and interesting than either the malevolent spirits of Christian superstition or the delicate winged things of Victorian tales.
But whatever the background, this is beautiful.
