As she's a rare breed of chao that can breathe underwater she has difficulty making friends as most chao either can't breathe underwater or don't want to make the swim to their underwater dome paradise which is protected from the sea water. Because of this whenever she can she sneaks out to go see and play with the chao on land just for some company that isn't her owner.
