Hello all,
I'd like to commence this Artist statement with the Note that while Amber in this image is depicted in an outfit based around a bikini, I intend her to be depicted often wearing jackets or sweatshirts as she is a Jonin level Shinobi and notably carries herself professionally. I really like this design though, so I mocked it up this way and on top of that, I don't know what kind of jacket/sweatshirt I want to put on her to keep her character and impression in tact. So yeah. Moving on.

Amber is one of the four members of the International Ninja Council's field squad along with Zane Sentana, Arc, and Toshiro Takahashi. In her younger years, she fell for Zane and the two became close and eventually decided to define their relationship. After some time and personal struggle in Zane's life, he drifted apart from Amber and developed a relationship with Monica. Amber then devoted herself to working hard to improve herself and, in the back of her mind, one day hoped to revive the relationship she once held with Zane. Later on, Amber is asked by the Waterfall village to represent them on the International Ninja council's field squad with Zane. The two remained close, but held themselves at professional distance both for the benefit of the squad and with respect for Zane's relationship.

Amber is predominantly skilled in the of senbon, which she utilizes in combination with a pair of fans and water style ninjutsu.

So guise. Finally a character that I HAVEN'T put up any sort of artwork for. Completely new. Kind of cool for me, actually. No need to compare and look back, for once. Ironically enough, she's on the of the first four characters I originally designed like 6 years ago for my Ninja Council series. As per usual, I rendered out the background for your viewing pleasure.
