Impressive. Most impressive.
The quality of the show's art style is accurate and on par with a.deviantart.net/avatars/t/r/t… " alt=" " title="TriteBristle" />'s stuff (whose "Heartstrings" comic is all kinds of cute and feels-y).
Very original premise. I haven't seen many comics that pull off stories with this much of a connection between the episodes. It never occurred to me that Silver had yet to repay that bit back to Neon until now. In addition, doing such during the games was fitting; it also shows, as you mentioned, Neon participated in the games and got to where he was through his own merit, not some half-assed tonic.
The story was to the point without being excessive in length or shoddy in dialogue. Well, no dialogue per se, but the pantomime and facial expressions helped tell the story without difficulty and flawlessly drove the message home. Simple, to put it simply e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>
Overall, for a first time gander at making a comic, you've pulled it off admirably. This is definitely a venture that suits your talents and something to consider doing more often, so long as it's not too strenuous.
Cheers!

I'm very flattered but also happy that someone understands completely the type of message and ethic I wanted to get across (though that should also apply to anyone else who reads this too, because I'm sure many others have felt the same way), though not only with this work, but across my general stuff as a whole.
At the same time, it actually has me a bit wary of further expectations, or how I seemingly feel the need to top something like this eventually , as something like this isn't necessarily something I expected or thought I would ever attain when the types of characters I deal with are considered.
Admittedly, I accepted a while ago that I should never expect anything substantial as to avoid having empty hopes, and that I'd end up being stuck with being used for recoloring material as what's happened since then. Of course, in adopting such a mentality, I kinda had no idea what to make of this response, other than to be elated, since this work is probably the first thing I've made that I felt was substantial enough to openly request critiques, Premium Member or not.
But I understand it's something I should embrace or get used to, and I certainly don't see it as a bad thing. I guess you could say I'm very careful about being seen as conceited or boastful, but still want to feel proud of what I do altogether.
Anyhow, I really appreciate that you took time to write this, admittedly it's taken me a while to actually put my own response into words. Thank you again!

This is wonderful...and I never even spotted him (I wish I could find vectors of the other dignitaries in the box seats....that opening scene is like a Where's Waldo?...if you look you can see so many ponies)

And thanks to that tonic he apparently won silver at the friendship games, so really he has nothing to complain about.

I didn't notice how you got the medal consistent. I'm impressed; that's not the sort of thing most people bother with getting right.

I always liked Shill because of that quote. I showed that he was willing to spend his own time and money to fix his mist.

So Silver Shill kept his word after all, maybe there's hope for a bright future for him after all.

Epilogue. The pony undresses himself and his cutiemark was completely different.
Therefore the look at the second last panel means "Hehehe, I love free bits"

The team itself is unnamed and the symbol or team color doesn't appear to be based on any settlement (it only appeared during this one episode), but it had an aerial relay team .

Yeah, I figured you were going with that direction. I probably would have gone with something like the unicorn throwing a bottle of tonic backwards over his shoulder while walking away with an open-mouth smile on his face.
