Hawk Moth furiously berates her because she can't steal the Miraculous from them while they're petrified. She undoes the spell only to meet a fist to the face because apparently the two are actually fully conscious of what's going on the full time they're magically petrified. Marinette uses her lucky charm to produce the tool she needs to beat the monster and... don't you know it it's a blindfold and earplugs. She still manages to defeat Gorgiren despite the obvious disadvantage and Paris is safe until the next kinky monster shows up.
