angel-blue [2004-12-24 11:06:54 +0000 UTC]

question time umm you know if you're using the stiches on a dark background how do you manage to paste it without having the banana like background to the image, coz when I try and erase the bannana background it I tend to erase the stiches either that or the stiches wont show up for they're to dark

(sorry if that made no sense what so ever)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chaintech In reply to angel-blue [2004-12-24 11:12:33 +0000 UTC]

You need to have the stitched banana in a new layer between the background image and the 2 multiply images. And if things get to dark try to use the dodge tool. And remember to use an eraser with edges that's not sharp.. if you know what I mean. If you want I can give you the PSD file of the tutorial.

not a bad at all of a tutorial

i liked your usage of the multiply and desaturate
could use a few more explanations about what each feature does and why to use it or something else
but on the overall really nicely done

on the final nitpick ... i personally preffer jpgs over html.. but i'm crazy

cheers,
~jaakobou

p.s. come see the club
