I'm kind of a MOTU traditionalist, but I do enjoy checking out people's redesigns. It's probably a bit of a stretch for me, but I still think it's a really cool looking "outside the box" type redesign, and I love the Snake Mountain background as well. Very nice drawing!

I think it looks a little odd... You kept the rest of him fairly true to the original design, and then just stuck these totally, out there, legs on him. It's an awesome drawing, but it really does just look like these legs were from some other drawing, and they were just added later, or something...
I guess ultimately all I'm saying is that, while I agree with you that he really should look more demon-like, it just seems like these legs are too much of a leap.
Please don't be offended. I'm just sharing a critique.
