When Rosa Martine visited Equestria through the mirror portal for the first time, everyone was surprised when she became a griffon rather than a pony. No one was more startled than her husband, Phil, who was a unicorn. When Mark Wells showed them the wondrous sight of Canterlot, Rosa was so enthralled by it that she started hugging her husband enthusiastically. Unfortunately for Phil, his wife was now much bigger and stronger than him and she was squeezing the air out of his lungs, much to Mark's amusement at his best friend's discomfort.
