"So.. You say he's been out to pasture for the last year?"

"For the last two, yes."

Kylie could not help but frown as her eyes fell again on the form of the man before her, though her nerves were dismissed with little more than a bat of the eye as Jasper's attention shortly returned to the agitated stallion barely standing still in his soon-to-be-employer's hands. Outcry --true as ever to his name--stuck his large head straight over the woman below and opened his mouth to loose a loud, shuddering scream directed towards the mare barn across the property. It was evident that he possessed no respect for his current handler, but still, it seemed that Jasper was not deterred.

"Then we ought to get him into the roundpen and work him from the ground up. Whatever he learned, good or bad, before he came to you can be reworked." The man sat back on his far heel shortly as Outcry dropped his head and swung his haunches in an arch so that he could twist his neck around despite the arm that Kylie shot up to block him. "..manners included, ma'am." He remarked with a humorless smile as he watched her struggle to get the black horse to dance himself back to where he'd previously been standing.

"I would like him ready for next season if possible." Kylie did what she could to keep her tone from rising as frustration gripped at her conscience in the face of Outcry's lack of attention, though this must have been more than evident to Jasper, as he stepped up to take the lead rope without any hesitation.

"That, I can do, ma'am." He responded sincerely, though a bit of an unamused look overcame him as the stallion struggled to turn his head, another piercing whinny wracking his ribcage.

"...well, then I guess we'll get your things set up in the guest house Mr. Jorgensen." Kylie smiled a little before her hand ran down to fish out her iPhone. "Thank you, once again, and good luck. You can consider yourself officially hired."

It's been a while since I last posted something HARPG related, but I think I've finally worked out a new system that I'm happy with when it comes to showing and breeding my horses. So, expect me to be active again! Yay!!
