Parigons are large, sentient, highly adaptable, and semi-aquatic creatures. Generally they are found in isolated and forested areas near or surrounded by bodies of water, they can swim in both fresh and salt water. Although, they have also been found living near or in villages, towns, and cities that have water or rivers near by, sometimes much to the displeasure of its residents.

They are not obligate carnivores, though some can be. Mostly, they are omnivorous and will eat a wide range of vegetation. However, they do require (and prefer) meat, fresh or carrion, to survive and cannot subsist on vegetation alone. Parigons are opportunistic hunter-scavengers and will go to great lengths to acquire food.

Parigons can be completely furless or thoroughly furred. Depending on climate or season, some also shed their coats partially or completely, and may have a summer or winter coat color. Some keep their coats year round, shedding very little, It seems to be dependent on the individual.

- Skin modifications, tattoos, bio-luminescent markings, ect are all acceptable

- Fur Length can vary greatly on different parts of the body.

- Stylized hair, dyes, accessories, ect are acceptable.
