My current wallpaper. I just love Odin Sphere artwork so I made another WP with some art I had of it.

glad to see I'm not the only person who liked this game. it's so hard to find games that have that hand drawn feel to the characters and environment. everything all "our graphics are better" any more in main stream gaming.

Thanks to your previous desktop pic, I found Odin Sphere, buyed it, played it and loved it.
But I have to say that this desktop looks better than that previous one with Gwendolyn on it (although it was great too ^-^) But this looks just awesome

Odin Sphere is a PS2 action RPG that runs in 2D with a very fairy-tale appearance and story.
The thing is, though... is that the story is played through different characters whose paths cross continuously.
You start as Gwendolyn, a Valkyrie who serves her father, King Odin (yes, princess... big deal), then play as a few others... Velvet (seen in the wallpaper) is the last of the 5 playable characters.
The -basic- story is that there is this powerful cauldron that makes psyphers, cystaline weapons of incredible power, but it has been deactivated. The main two sides fighting a war over this cauldron are Odin's troops, consisting of Valkyries, barbarians, dwarves and such and the fairies, who also have some more forest-like creatures and goblins... but as always, there's more than meets the eye.
