Description Well.. of course they didn't die yet.
Would be a very short and boring story.
I love desert settings, the colors, the clothes, the music.
So the main environment of this mystery dungeon story is the desert ♥

CHAPTER 2:

CHAPTER 3:

Neither of them could estimate how much time had passed since they lay under the sparse shadow of the boulder. It felt like hours. The sun was still high in the sky, but as it moved, the shade slowly dwindled. Zira could feel it waking her up again and again, only to doze off again shortly after. Nova was also lying flat on her side, not knowing what else to do. They had run without preparation, and weakened as they were anyway, straight into the vastness of a desert that would surely stretch for many miles to come. If they managed to hold out until nightfall, they could try to move back toward the coast. But would they be able to do that without a drop of water?

Nova looked hazily in the approximate direction from which they must have come. The hot air flickered and the boulders around them seemed to move. One of them even seemed to be growing. It slowly rose up and down and came toward the two Pokemon. With difficulty, Nova lifted her head and strained to make out the dark silhouette. Her head was spinning and she saw stars again in her mind's eye. She shook her head and forced herself into a sitting position. The great outline, still many feet away, seemed to stop. The billowing air still did not reveal what or who it was. Now it started moving again and came toward Nova and Zira. It was something four-legged. It had to be a large and massive Pokemon.

"Hee," the creature's deep, raspy voice now said. The white flickering stars in Nova's mind's eye subsided and now she realized that the Pokemon had deep orange-red fur and was loaded down, with all kinds of objects, blankets and bags. Therefore, from a distance, it seemed even more bulky than it already was. Despite the dryness, the heat, and its added burden, it seemed calm and collected. "what are you doing here, you're not hurt are you?" it asked gruffly.
"I... we..." Nova's voice was shaky. She could barely get a word out, her mouth was so dry. She had taken a few steps out of the shadows and now glanced back at Zira, who didn't seem at all responsive at the moment.

"Ahh," made the big Pokemon. "Here, help me get this gourd off the hump."
The Pokemon buckled its knees and lowered itself to the ground. Next to a massive, bulging pouch, hung a gourd with straps attached to one of the humps. Nova heaved herself up, pulled herself onto the large bag, and then tried to pull the straps over the hump. The gourd was heavy and she couldn't manage to lift the weight up. "Come on," said the Pokemon, pushing its long head under the pumpkin and nudging it upward. Nova now managed to loosen the straps. She jumped more badly than good back on the ground, next to the heavy gourd.

"Now look in the bag. There should be a bowl at the very top." Nova reached into the bag with one paw and got hold of something hard and curved. It had a wooden appearance.

"There's water in the gourd. Pull out the cork and you can pour it into the bowl." "Really?" gasped Nova softly. It took her a while before she could loosen the cork, but she managed. Clear water flowed out hastily, into the bowl. It was very warm, but she had never longed for water as much as she did now. She dipped her whole face into the bowl and tried to swallow as much water as she could, while still a thin stream from the gourd followed into the bowl. Then she waited again until the bowl was full and hurriedly pushed it to Zira.
"Look here, you need to drink something" Zira didn't move. Nova became nervous. Then she grabbed the bowl again, and poured the entire contents on Zira. Then she repeated the procedure and filled the bowl a third time. Zira stirred now. She tried to shake her head, but barely managed to keep it up. "What the hell..." she mumbled, struggling to get to her feet. "Here drink this, now get on with it" Nova demanded energetically. Her voice was already stronger. Zira glanced at the bowl in confusion, undecided for a moment what this was all about before the information got through to her brain. She tipped headfirst into the very warm water and drank the bowl dry. Followed by another.

"There, now be sparing with the rest. We're still a few days away." said the Pokemon. "But" began Nova "don't you want to go back to the coast?". "To the coast? Nonsense. I have a delivery to make. You could walk back, of course" it nodded its head in the direction they had come from, " However, there is nothing there but cliffs."

Zira was now getting to her feet. Her fur was wet and she looked terribly disheveled. However, she was much better than she had been a short time before. "What do you mean, you want to go further into this wasteland?". The Pokemon nodded "I suppose you’re not very happy if those Pokemon traders catch you?." it said. Zira and Nova winced. "Every now and then, a few Pokemon manage to escape from there. But those crooks don't anchor there for nothing. Nobody disturbs them there. There's nothing there, at least not for Pokemon like you, who have absolutely no use for that terrain. So either you come with me to the oasis or you stay here. But first, help me tie up the gourd again," it said to Nova. She hesitated and Zira looked puzzled, her mouth half open. Then she shook her head again "As if we could run anywhere. We are already running on empty!" she said, pulling herself to her feet and staggering a few steps towards her rescuer before having to sit down again. "Oh, what a surprise" he said now "so, if you want a ride, jump on now. And don't forget the watergourd".

They helped reattach the now not insignificantly lighter gourd to the hump and then in turn jumped on the Pokemon's back.
"Don't  you... want water as well?" asked Nova cautiously. "Ah? Ahh no, I already made provisions two weeks ago. That's enough for me until we get to our destination.". "What, two weeks ago?" repeated Zira confused and impressed at the same time". "Yap" the Pokemon calmly replied and with a sweeping motion it rose from the ground and continued on its way. Everything swayed with each step and Zira and Nova had to be careful not to fall right back down. "Why do you have water with you then?" asked Zira, "What do you think?" Replied the Pokemon. "I told you, you're not the only dehydrated Pokemon around here". "And what's your name, Mr. Quick-witted?" asked Zira, a little annoyed. "Call me Wanderer. They all do."
"What kind of Pokemon are you?" asked Nova now "I've never seen one like you before". "I'm a Camerupt. A fire and ground Pokemon" added Wanderer and trotted leisurely but purposefully onward and upward. Zira and Nova stopped asking more questions. They were still very exhausted and could barely keep their eyes open. Nova had settled down on one of the large carrying bags, on which she found good footing. Zira lay between the two humps.
Little by little, the landscape changed. The boulders became smaller and eventually disappeared. The gravelly ground became more and more sand, forming ever larger dunes. Wanderer's wide feet trotted safely across the sand and along the ridges of the dunes. How far they were from the coast? How much farther they would hike? The heat was slowly abating and evening was announcing itself. In fact, it was getting cold and Zira and Nova curled up, leaning against each other. Wanderer continued to walk.
