Over three years into her 1,850 day sentence at Sand Basin Severe Punishment Complex Moko knew she was extremely fortunate, although it didn't exactly feel like it. In the time since her arrival she had received a number of piercings along with a pair of skewers. They had marked her with some additional tattoos-- including the words "Beat My Tits" on her chest just below her number.

One especially bad day, an especially sadistic guard didn't like the answer Moko gave to a question, so she yanked out one of Moko's teeth (upper left lateral incisor to be exact) with mini pliers. The guard was suspended with pay and transferred somewhere where her temperament and set of skills could be put to better use. Moko was given a bottle of water and allowed to rest for an hour before being sent back to work.

Every day, Moko has to run back and forth across a dirt field while holding a cinder block. If she slows, slacks off, or drops her block she gets beaten with a rubber whip across her back, ass, or tits. For the other girls running beside her it can be much worse. Regularly, the crack of a gunshot pierces the air and an unlucky prisoner falls dead, shot in the back by one of the guards. Since she is not classified as "expendable" Moko is not approved to be casually executed like this, but she wouldn't stake her life on that.

Most of Moko's workday, twelve to sixteen hours every day, is spent inside in front of a number of computers and electronic devices. Chained to her work station, she scrolls through a seemingly endless stream of videos and images "liking" them and leaving a simple positive comment. Many people are very eager for their sites, pages, and posts to receive a lot of views and feedback. The host sites keep improving their defenses against automated bots, so the users turn to paying actual humans to physically view and appreciate their content, either in developing nations or here at home in a prison.

It's monotonous work for Moko, and it's fatiguing standing in the same place for so many hours. At least it's air conditioned in there-- not for her comfort, of course, but rather to keep all the antiquated electronic gear performing. As for Moko, she does her best to keep up with everything before her, and even keeps count on how many days she (hopefully) has left here.
