I am so envious of the way you shaded these wings! They look amazing! O.O I think it’s also cool how the figure is left in black and white, and the wings are colored; I think that would make for a cool mixed-media piece, experimenting with layers and colorblocking like that!

Thanks! Adding just a bit of color to pencil drawings really brings them up to a more finished level I think, especially good since it doesn't take a huge amount of time.

To be honest I didn't know what I was a getting myself into. A couple of days into the challenge I came really close to being overwhelmed and quitting, but I stuck through it and it worked out. Now I feel i've fallen into a nice rhythm and it has become part of my daily routine.
