Well, This is basically a scene from my favorite book The Only Life That Mattered by James L. Nelson. It's about the lives of Anne Bonny, Mary Read and Calico Jack. Origianlly I was going to make it simply Mary and Anne but Then I remembered the contest at and decided I'd make them into Raven and Starfire. I tried to make Raven's face more feminin but tried to keep it boyish since she was masquerading her whole life as a boy. So if she looks boyish that's on perpous.
Raven as Mary Read and Starfire as Anne Bonny.
It's a great novel. Anne is a total hellcat and is incredibly passionate. So you just automatically fall in love with her. and Mary is just so kick ass and reasonable.
Basically Anne marries a man and then falls for Calico Jack and runs away to sea with him. Then they attack a dutch merchantman and they allow Mary(masquerading as a man) to join their crew because she speaks english. Anne grows tired of Calico Jack and wants Mary so she takes her down to a room in the ship and tries to kiss her and such so Mary has to come clean and reveal her true sex. And all the while Jack becomes more and more angry with Mary and Anne and bursts in on them and tries to kill them and Mary just kicks his butt. The end is so sad. I loved it tho. It was brilliant. And based on a true story!
Any way I drew the scene where Anne is hitting on Mary. Hope you like!
