About a week ago I stumbled across this Anime "Shingeki no Kyojin" (or: "Attack of the Titans") and seriously: if you haven't watched it, yet, go do it now. In my humble opinion it's one the best animes I've ever seen, especially regarding creating an atmosphere and relationships between characters. And I also like the "little more detailed" anime style which led me to draw Mikasa the way you see above from a screenshot of the Anime.

I tried doing her hair a "little more detailed" than just fill in the hair area as I did before. Also I could use my new pencils to add a little something to the shading (mainly did it on the hair, scarf and face - jacket not so much). But I think I failed with the eyelashes I tried to add...it's hard to tell if I did or not. I'm tending to the former^^
In order to keep those things visible I didn't use any ink on this one - only graphite involved.
I would appreciate any feedback about these new things I tried because I'm planning on taking them further and use them on other Animes (for the start), e.g. Detective Conan - see how that looks.
