Yes, I'm still in fangirl mode. I've been working on this picture on and off for the past 2 weeks and I only managed to finish it today since there are no classes tomorrow! I think it's the only fanart I've made so far where I actually took time making a background.
Saya and Hagi don't look like themselves in this picture because this is actually a fanart of Blood+ Adagio, a manga by Kumiko Suekane based on the Blood+ anime. The 2 voluma manga focuses on Saya and Hagi's secret mission to hunt down Chiropteran in 1900's Russia.
It's very violent, dark, bloody but also quite fluffy at the same time. 
I used to wonder why the artist drew Saya with slightly longer hair but I realized that it's 'cause she'd look a bit weird with her short hair cut in 18th century clothes. Gaah, I can't seem to get enough of these two!
The hot weather probably made me want to make a winter picture.

Blood+ A: I love Saya's outfot in that series, its so weird and awesome looking, and I actually sorta prefer her hair this way instead of the weird flippy thing she's got going on in Blood+ the actual series.
Do you know if the second Volume of A has come out? I think Diva is on the cover

Really? I haven't found scans anywhere, all I could find are the first volume, haha it seems all Adagio covers are weird positions, like Saya and Hagi's in the first volume lol.

If you're asking about Blood+ Adagio, it hasn't been scanlated (completely) or translated into English. But if it's the manga adaptation of the TV series you're looking for, you can try looking in the lj community.

I got mine from Kinokuniya but I think that any manga store that regularly recieves new shipments from Japan have it as well.

Yeah it is related, Blood+A covers the events that lead up to ep. 17. The big difference though is that Rasputin in the manga is a bishounen while his picture in the anime is more like his real self, an old man.
