Description Well here is the final piece to the baby gorilla. This drawing is a bit different than my others, in that i mixed in an animal and plants. I love how the delicate flowers and the slender grass along with the textures from the tree trunk brings the overall drawing together. Of course the main focus is the baby gorilla but all the other details compliment the gorilla beautifully. Well this one measures 11x14 and is done with pencil on smooth bristol. I hope you like this one, take care all.

thankyou so much for answering chandito!!! can i annoy you with one more question?.... say im going to an art shop to buy this particuar paper would i just ask for bristol smooth? is that the brand? and is there a particular weight?.. im really wanting to advance my graphite and i like doing detail.. so any help on paper choice would be fantastic thankyou!!!!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

chandito In reply to rasberry6 [2006-12-30 17:05:01 +0000 UTC]

Well its no problem, any question that you have ill be glad to answer . Well the specific paper that i used was Strathmore Wind Power Bristol Smooth, you can ask for that, this is a new paper. I have always used bristol vellum, which i also love, because it has a bit of grain which is good for textures. For the vellum i use Canson bristol vellum. These papers are great. Well take care.
