Hi! It has been a while but been busy! I only had a few hours every so often to work on this but it's finally done!I sketched this about a year ago - a monster who likes to eat little girl's noses snatched up this little girl's nose!
I like these two characters a lot and I would like to do more illustrations of them so more to come in the future for sure

This is what kid's books needed when I was growin' up. Love the chaos and the use of the color space. I think it accentuates the particular moment quite well. The lines also, are very appealing.. and cause your eyes to dart around and refocus.

This is great, three things I loved the most in this illo:
The tree on the back, the "wrinkles" on the ground and the girls shoes... just wondreful!

I would love to see the sketch of this, to see the line arts and ect you've made. At first glance, within the wonderful blend of colors, it seems like a bit of a mess (not a horrid mess, but a mess that you just don't want to clean up because it fits.) I guess confusing would fit more, but..
Then you look at it more, and you find the neatest details. The grass, for one, inspires me. Odd to say. But your way of coloring and the soft yet dynamic shapes really do bring out the characters a lot. Not to mention the scenery. I'll speak paragraphs about that, but I could leave it at that it leaves me in awe. Beautiful work.
