Say what you want about Trump, but I could never be part of the hatedom. Have you seen what the left has done? I can never be part of something like that. So I'd rather have a controversial stance than just be part of a hateful cult that just pulls questionable factoids to try and act like Trump is the next incarnation of Hitler.

I know how bad liberals can be. It's why I refuse to align myself with a party; the left shares slightly more of my opinions most of the time, but I'm not for legalizing pot for example, and I hate SJWs with a burning passion. It's just that I have to question someone's priorities if they're so fixated on an issue that's resolving itself (look up the statistics please), and has suggested libel laws should be a thing. And I'm here because I got here through your profile on one of your commentaries. Opinion myopia doesn't look good on anyone, and it usually leads to ignorance. The world isn't black and white, and pretending that the other side has no valid points whatsoever is plain childish. I will agree that Trump has a point about America minding its own business. There. I hate to see people stuck in their echo chambers under the delusion their more "woke" than anyone else. Though go stay in your echo chamber if you want, just keep in mind you have no right to call others out for it.

Alright. It's good you're trying to be civil with me, I can really respect that, it's rare that happens over politics. Just... try to be more open about this kind of stuff. I don't want this to devolve into a cringey bitchfest for both of us either, nor do I want to be a know-it-all (I will admit this here; I'm 17. Almost 18, yes, but I still have much to learn, so there's definitely a lot of stuff I'm missing), but I guess your attitude just touched a nerve with me. I've seen the horseshoe theory proven time and time again way too often with YouTubers I used to like (I.e. Anti-SJWs starting to usong very similar mental gymnastics as SJWs).

Yeah. I like to end things positively so nobody could feel discouraged over having conflicting viewpoints. No hard feelings indeed.
To be frank, I was friends with him on Facebook, and he was among the more vocal of Trump's haters (and was more aligned to Bernie). He posted about politics on a daily
basis and got very passionate about it, which is what compelled me to do it in the first place.

That's good. I didn't get that impression at first, to be frank (and wow I sound passive-aggressive). But I try to have civil discussions too (especially since recently I don't have the patience to, even if I normally like debates). I have Asperger's, so I kind of see it as social training; you're probably familiar with how some of the more *ahem* cringier among us behave.
Oh. Didn't know that. I don't use Twitter at all. Though does that mean you are, or were, a fan of him too? I guess that would get annoying if he wouldn't shut up about it.. I know I would go "Ok, we get it, talk about cartoons please!". To be honest, I think Bernie was one of the more decent candidates in that election, and I believe that Trump is nowhere near as good as his supporters claim, but I also believe he's also nowhere near as bad as his haters claim. Sure, I don't like him at all, but I don't think he's racist, misogynistic, or any of those other insults SJWs love to constantly dispense towards anything they don't like like a medieval Pope did anathemas until they lose all meaning.

I never really got to watch his content. I friended him when I tried my hand at joining a site he was part of. Let's just say when he gets on a topic, he goes on it for an unhealthy period. I understand why people wanted Bernie, but I just didn't feel right with what he had in mind (such as his free college proposition, which may have led to higher taxation to keep things balanced). As for Trump, at least we could agree that he isn't the pariah the media makes him out to be. He has issues, but the best of us do as well.

I know that these groups of SJWs and Bernie supporters tend to overlap, but because SJWs tend to receive more attention, we automatically associate them with Bernie supporters.
Likewise, I can assume that most Trump supporters are gun-wielding xenophobic NASCAR fans, even though I know that's more or less not true because I know some people support him because they've been fucked over by what Obama's failed to fix, but because that demographic is showed so much in this light, I make that generalization. I must stress that this's just more of an observation than criticism.
