Description >__> I had a lot of difficulty trying to make Abra, so I decided to work on something easier to get my motivation back. Oddish is all finished now. :3 Not fantastic, I know, but still pretty cute. xD Bashful looking creature, ne?

Hum.. it didn't take long. Well, I mean, it took me a while to make myself do it, but altogether the time to make it isn't that long. I ended up using denim for the body since they didn't have Oddish colour in a good plushie material at the shop. >.>;

:3 Oddish belongs to Pokemon - Nintendo and Satoshi Tajiri. I just made this fan plush. x3 I'll give it to me good friend Kei-chan for Christmas I think. Alas, the poor student life means I'm too cheap to buy nice normal things.. :/

Gosh, I think a handmade thing is a far more heartfelt gift to a friend! And the Oddish is so cute, I want to hold it but I also want to eat it, but I don't want to do that- I AM SO CONFLICTED.

Gaah, the eyes look like they took forever! @_@ Did you put material on, or are the whites just layered thread?

channellehazel In reply to Shadows-and-Rainbows [2010-12-13 03:58:15 +0000 UTC]

It's material. x.x; That's the problem when it's just small circles.. felt comes apart pretty easy. >.> Guhhh.

super cute! for the felt coming apart easily thing, my mom gave me this fabric thing that has dried glue dots on the backside... you iron it onto the fabric and it makes it sturdier and easier to sew eyes n such on

idk what it's called though.. i'm sure you can find it at a fabric store or craft store

The thing is talking about is called iron-on interfacing. It comes in various degrees of stiffness and adhesiveness. Another wonderful invention to prevent fraying is "fray-block."

channellehazel In reply to Rae-Lynn [2010-12-13 07:37:21 +0000 UTC]

Ah, a sort of adhesive? :3 I shall look into this.
