There are actually a few parts to that answer.
1. She’s wearing unisex trunks, much like how everyone else is wearing unisex clothes. I figured it would show more support towards the equal rights amendment.
2. The left side represents the right to be feminine, and the right side represents the right to be masculine.

4. I’m also thinking of doing a genderbent version of this for men’s day, (November 19,) where the genderbent characters are wearing the exact same clothes, and doing the exact same poses.
