Waya was born in the Cherokee Nation, with a rare condition called Tilted Disc Syndrome. So once he transferred to a new school in Michigan, people could people at first couldn’t take him seriously with his eyes. However, behind those eyes, they were able to learn he is a straight A student in literature, from spelling bees, to book projects, eventually getting excepted into a book club. This book worm was amazingly able to do all of this despite his condition, and bullying he had his first year.
