Here's my Phantom Blood fan-art. Sorry for going Star Wars on you guys by posting Part 1 last. I just wanted to show the anime only watchers a taste of the future arcs in JJBA. Although part 1 isn't my fav of the 7 parts I've read, I still think it was extremely important because it laid a foundation for the later parts. I'll make a part 8 fan-art later in the near future along with other random JJBA fan-arts but for now enjoy this piece.

ACtually THIS part is underrated. Jonathan is relatable because he's...regular ! That to me is one of the best qualities of this arc. Also, the sheer horror of the baby scene was never surpassed ! devilkais.deviantart.com/art/Jβ¦

I see where yer coming from but I guess it's just me.
Usually I have an emotion attachment to the 1st parts of every series I like. But "PB" JUST wasn't one of them.
And I read it a WHILE back. I guess the cast didn't harmonize like in other parts and it was done before I even knew it.
Over all I give it an OK+ but(mostly because of DIO and the anime adaption of it) Other than that It was MEH to me.Β

True , the cast is not as memorable aside from Jonathan , Dio and Zeppeli , but let's give it credit ; it wasΒ
a) Araki's very first arc (well after Baoh and his LASER CANNON !)
b) mostly focused on the fraternal relationship between a honorable man and a despicable vampire.
Also, I do not exactly have an emotional attachement to the first arcs (hell, Dragon Ball only became excellent from Piccolo and to Cell. The first 2 arcs were serviceable, but the Buu one was an amusing yet wasted potential)
The anime however did improve it !

I've been watching the anime and man is Dio an asshole. A great villain, but an asshole. But his fight with Jonathan in Episode 3 in the burning mansion was glorious. This is great work!

DIO IS the BIGGEST ASSHOLE of the 7 main antagonist in Jojo but when you see Kira,Pucci and Funny your jaw will DROP!
I like the anime so far, it's great!
Can't WAIT to see my FAV jojo's: Josuke,Jotaro,Jolyne and Johnny animated! I actually teared up at the end of part 6. I wonder if the anime will do that arc justice because that's the weirdest of them all. I also wonder how they'll make SBR because it looks extremely detailed to the point were it almost looks realistic.

Now that you mention it, I DID make his face look a bit too young and I didn't make him as beefy as Araki made him :0
I'll keep that in mind for the next pic I make. I plan on making a fan-art with all the protagonist from each part in it. I'm still reading SBR but when I get to Jojolion I'll make it. Thanks for the critic
