Description
a British paratrooper team attempts to extract a VIP when they encounter an Imperial patrolA hosltile corvette makes things difficult for
paratroopers searching for a mysterious VIP whilst TAAM mechs hold the line against Imperial mech units until their ship returns for extraction

thanks, i'd have liked to have used a higher resolution scanner to make it easier to colour digitally, but its come out very nice in pen only

lol, its a imperial patrol ship, a small fish comapared to the larger parent ships, she'd normally be docked in pairs either side of an imperial patrol carrier, sometimes up to 8 ships

its just a 0.1 mitsubishi pencil co. pen mostly, with a 0.05 for some of the detailing, i used a ruler as well but most of it is free hand i drew it in pencil to begin with then stepped it up on the pen drawing [link]
i think the difference between the images is staggering but i spent a very long time on this piece

thanks, its kinda hard to see it as they are just off the edge on the left, but its only part of a larger battle, there are three other british mechs in the battle and dozens of imperial ones out of frame
the ones you can see here are topaz and ruby, sapphire and amber are elsewhere, and emerald has pulled back due to mechanical malfunction

thanks, emerald will indeed go back into service after a lengthy overhaul which will leave her in a much better condition, mechs in this region rarely get a chance to undergo full maintainance overhauls and can get a little bit clogged up in the joints when the dust filters wear out
