well... some friends of mine watch bleach and I don't know the other's name (goku i think). I watched a few episodes with them. that's all my manga history :d

well bleach is amazing but, you will have to watch at least the first 15 episodes till the story get really amazing and then you will get stuck.
try watching ninja scroll, akira, ghost in the shell these are the classics like astro boy too.
there is afro samurai the work of art and animation done on this movie and episodes is amazing, plus to the music and the concept too.
