The youngest child of Seto Phenex and Yui Ikari as well as being sisters with Iris, Elpeo Puru, Shun, and Sasami, Christa is the 1st kid sister of Shinji Ikari and whose kindness is quite endearing to a lot of people. Christa is also a lesbian due to having feelings for her bodyguards Nanba and Ymir, a fact not lost on Shinji and their fellow siblings such as Kunihiro, Rin, Sango & Mikasa.

Known as the Silver Princess due to her hair's color changing whenever she uses her abilities, Christa is kind, polite and very close to Shinji. In fact, she became close to Hokuto Successor Kenshiro's own ward Lin.

Christa is seen as Shinji's counterpart due to how both she is loved by the people of the Phoenix Empire yet is also very sensitive when it comes to her emotions. At the sametime, however, she inherits the same extreme bad temper as her brother and isn't afraid of displaying her ruthlessness at anyone who would bad-mouth her big brother.

Despite her appearance, Christa is highly trained in the martial arts and is not afraid of using a sword. Nanaba and Ymir trains her extensively in unarmed combat, making her work hard while noticing her "never give" attitude.

The youngest to be a Grand Master of the martial arts, Christa is the protege of Bella Shimazu and her wife Saki, inheriting their martial arts styles yet is also close to Keniichi Shirahama, one of those closest to Shinji. She and Ino Yamanaka - one of Shinji's Harem mates - also are very close, especially when it comes to martial arts and they would spar for hours while Christa proves to be an excellent Judoka due to Nanaba's training.

She enjoys Beach Volleyball very much and would often plays with Mina Aino against Miu Furinji and Keniichi.

When Shinji was nearly killed at Kazamagahara, Christa actually went berserk and attacks anyone who tries to stop, even scarring Erwin Smith in the face. The event left her so traumatized that her long platinum-blonde hair changed to silver-like white and she became very emotionally homicidal to the point that she actual kills one of those responsible for causing her brother so much emotional pain. Seeing what these very people did to her father Seto Phenex drove her over the edge and in a shocking event which surprises everyone, Christa personally butchered a high-ranking Military Police official while showing a smirk which leaves everyone trembling in fear of what their actions had unleashed.

Because of what had happened, Christa was prepared to die alongside her brother and actually held a remote control which will enables her to activate the Death Force robots in order to carry out Operation DAS Irae's Alternative Directive D.

It would had been a Genocidal Apocalypse not seen for generations but fortunately, Christa is dissuaded from carrying out her plans by Shinobu Nagumo and Dana Sterling. Yet believing her family would be persecuted as war criminals, Christa initially didn't believe either woman's claims that nothing will happen until eventually hands the remote over due to being reassured by another close person of her brother's, Lynn Minmei.
