Marida Karavich is an Eastern European martial artist who participates in the legendary 2006 Valkyrie Densetsu Tournament during the post-Second Impact period.

A native of a minor Eastern European nation, Marida proves to be a ruthless karate fighter who won't hesitate to inflict pain on her opponents. Due to injuring her sensei years earlier after a violent verbal argument, she is given the moniker 'Python of Karate' and enjoys it.

She never had a chance to participate in either the Ultimate Battle Satelite or Fukamichi Ranking events but did finds herself participating in the 2006 Valkyrie Densetsu as one of the Enforcers of Anthony Vermillion. She manages to survive until the Second round of the main event. There she faced off against Masaaki Yanagisawa and despite her prowess, is easily eliminated twice by him.

Following this humiliation, Marida began training herself to the point that she actually assaulted Masaaki in his own home while orchestrating the attack on Natsuki Kisumi. She would had gotten away with her actions if Masaaki hadn't identified her or that she was recruited by Omashiro, a man who seeks to eliminate Masaaki while hoping to cause a war between Johto Academy and Izumi Koshosho's Karate Association.

Treacherous and vain, she is a deadly foe to anyone who crossed her path.
