Capable of carrying up to 80-100 stormtroopers and 8 speeder bikes as well as 40 E-blaster cannons.

Not to mention, General Veers commanded the elite Blizzard Force, a legion of 28,000 troops and 800 Walkers!

According to the resource books From The Front Lines and an article on the Battle of Hoth, Veers had divided his force into four groups -

Two would approach from behind Echo Base while he and Brigadier Nelvar would act as a diversionary. The 501st Legion would serve as the shock troops/spear head of the assault.

Veers's strategy proves successful, despite losing two Walkers and 13 Scout Walkers in the process.

One AT-AT which had to have been destroyed by an aspiring Jedi.

The poor troops on that Walker never saw that coming and the funny thing is that the Walker was carrying ammunition on board.
