Description I'm still amazed by all the cool things linear fractals can do!

There's beauty in decay. Great work.

I appreciate the praise, and while I do not disagree with your first statement, I am curious: what are you interpreting as decay?

The whole scene can be interpreted as a post-apocalyptic hinterland; or ships at sea in a squall. That, combined with the colour palette, gives a strong impression of decay.

I never considered that before - you're right, I can see smoke and destruction and the whole post-apocalyptic feel. Thanks for sharing that perspective!

I myself view this as a 'world map' of mountains, forests, and rivers, so I was curious in understanding your interpretation of this.

You're most welcome; I enjoy talking about work that strikes a chord with me and this is certainly one of those.

This is the most painting like one so far. you have mastered this technique.

I wouldn't say I have mastered it yet, there's still so much more I think I can do!

Thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it

Thank you very much I keep trying new things, which is how I was able to make this. Oblique xforms are really fun to work with!

Damn, man, these just keep getting better and better. Something about the coloring and lighting here really gives it a sense of physical depth.

I am surprised to be saying it, but yes, I think that I'm improving my ability to make these types of fractals already

I was REALLY impressed with how the textured and shaded it appears to be. This set of parameters definitely warrants further study.
