Description They determined the murder was planned five days in the future.Β  It was carried out by a time-travelling necromancer who resurrected the victim in the future, only to transport his reanimated body into the past with instructions to kill its living body. Nobody knows for sure how many cycles ago the necromancer actually killed the man himself, nor how to find the original instance of that necromancer.

Interesting description text. When I encounter time and dimensional travel in movies and elsewhere I often think there are a lot of unexplored and interesting directions that the theme could be taken. This description text is a good example of that.

As mixed of a bag as it can be, the Homestuck webcomic did a lot of fun messing around with this.

Time travel is such a strange concept to work with, and it often is either not fully utilized, or becomes a random plot device introduced just to spice things up.Β  One of my favorite Scifi shows, Eureka, did it pretty well once, but introduced it a second time in a seemingly rushed way.Β  I think it's hard to balance and understand conceptually, so there's lots of handwavery involved with it that prevents it from being fully explored.

In my own rationalization of it, it's actually impossible to travel back in time, and instead it'd be traveling to a different universe/dimension that happened to be earlier in time.Β In my local frame of reference, even if I travel 100 years into the past, that's still an event embedded into my history that I cannot erase.Β  The key would be returning to the universe you desire, be it one where your actions actually did something, or to the original timeline where you'd notice no differences...

The only thing I know about Homestick is the term captchalogue. :3

I thought the waves was a Japanese thing Β  But yeah, it's...green!

I've made an effort to try using it more in some of the things I create.Β  I won't like, it is harder to work with since there's no "warmth" to green like there is fiery tones, or cold like blue, but there is something I like about it even if I can't describe what it is yet haha

Thank you Β  This is one of those cases where I love what the artwork conveys, but the story itself was partially derived from some ideas I pulled out of the imagery after the fact.

Quite welcome. And yes that is one of my favorite parts about it, the ideas pulled from the work.
Though mine is different from yours. I see a Troll who carries a white barked tree upon his hunch backed just above the sea line through a storm like none other above. Even though its rough over the waters, he is always calm bellow.Β

Such art can show so many things. I'm excited to see more from you.
