Sketches of animals from my trip to San Diego. The colored ones at the top are all pics of Charlie, my cousin's cat, and the others are animals from the San Diego Zoo. Most of the animals were sleeping, lol!Let's see, I've got a porcupine, camels, koalas, lion, some birds, and some meerkats in there. :3

I always make sure to take my sketchbook to the zoo. Never know when you'll come across a good subject.

Lol... I live here, yeah.
Sea World has mostly marine mammals (not just fish). They have killer whales, belugas, polar bears, walrus, horses (yeah, Clydesdales), cats, dogs, pigs, sea lions, seals, otters, lots of birds (many of them wild/native), dolphins, and lots of humans!
So, lots to sketch!
My main reason for going is the friendly atmosphere... the killer whales come in at a close second.

Polar Bears are a bit more active at Sea world.
Anheuser-Busch bought Sea World back in 1980's. The horses soon followed. Sometimes, they hitch up the horses to that old fashioned fire engine, and go around the park (dalmatian and all).
