You have no idea how many neomails I get from people who think Echo is a girl, a Peophin, or both.I can't really blame 'em, though. I don't give Echo any limbs, or the Uni's horn or wings. He likes cooking and housework. Still it's about time I addressed it in a comic.

hmm... echo's obviously a uni because he has a fluffy tail instead of a fin! and i've always assumed he was a boy ever since i started reading your comic in the NT some years back. even though he is really girly...to me its obvious that he's boy

Honestly, I don't think I ever saw Echo as a girl...though it may have been that little note you had on his pet lookup about "I don't know why people keep mistaking me for a girl" (or something).
...Though it took someone to point out to me he didn't have wings or horns

You know the third panel, where Echo is getting all pink about being mistaken for a girl? (Well, obviously you do since you drew it but, you know what I mean) Every time I look at that panel, I keep getting this image of Echo confessing to the Peophin girl!
Put anyway, great job! I thought Echo was a girl in your earlier comics in the NT, (like your first 5 or something) and there was that one comic where Claw was painted Darigan and Echo was painted Desert. The hair for the desert look had me thinking he was a girl. (And that was when I figured out what Neopet he was! I seriously had no idea what he could be...

Haha, you're the second person who's told me that! But I pronounce them "Oo-nee," so it just looks weird to me as "a Uni" DD8 I know that's not the official pronunciation, but I can't change now, not after I've been pronouncing it differently for six years! XDDDD
