I noticed you have a bit of cyan and red (like they have in the old 3D movie effects) throughout the painting that becomes more noticeable toward the bottom. Never saw it before, but going back to all your other grayscale paintings, I now see it come up in almost all of them (sometimes in colors besides cyan and red). Β Is there anything you can say about it? Like maybe what kind of effect you're trying to create or a bit of the color theory behind why you add it? I'd love to pick up a bit of the process behind your pieces!

May be just a doodle, but every time I look at it, she holds an uncanny resemblance to Mugino Shizuri.Β Really great work though! c:

... It is rare that a face leaves me speechless. Sometimes I am left gawking at large, elaborate scenes or at the outfit of a character, sometimes I stare unabashedly at monsters or incredible action sequences because the artist manages to capture some beauty that pierces me in some way, but rarely is it ever just a face like this one. When I saw the thumbnail alone I stopped everything else I was doing and hesitated to click, thinking the full image couldn't be as beautiful as the thumb made it seem, and yet even fully zoomed I am unable to keep my eyes away from her for long.
I do not say this, ever, because I find that there is always something off about every piece of art, something to be improved upon or made more whole, but in this case I think it is appropriate to say that there is a perfection in this doodle of yours. While similar to other faces in your gallery (and believe me I have looked through it all), her expression is captivating beyond what I thought possible in a picture like this, though even to say that is wrong.
If I continue like this, I'm bound to write an essay describing just why I favorited this particular piece, so suffice it to say that you have captured the face of what, in my mind, is the perfect woman. I do not say perfect because I believe everyone would find her that way, but for me there can be no doubt and no other. In this moment, the one you've drawn her in, there is nothing that could be wrong with her.
Thank you for posting this. Truly, I mean it.
And happy Tuesday.

It is a very impressive doodle. I'm not even sure it should be called a doodle.
