This is a compilation/resume (not all of the maps are showed) of work done on the first dungeon.Software : Photoshop CS3

Or there is another way, you make the base of your map in the map editor then make it prettier in a image editor > [link]

Pretty nice map but I see a lot problems if it is just a panorama.
For example the water is not moving.

That's normal, they're parallax maps and in a picture editor so yes no animation.
Also, I won't animate the water because the weight of an image is fairly consistent.
I will only animated wated in important place and will use animated charsets to brings some life in there

You are creating maps in Photoshop.. so the maps are only panoramas and you can find on them only a blocking events for trees and other stuff?

Pretty good looking. What engine are you using? From the looks I would say RPG maker but not sure which one. Very cool though, I wish I had the patience to go about hand creating levels for games.

I am using Rpg maker Vx ace but these maps have been made in Photoshop.

I noticed that. How exactly do you go about doing that. Using an art program to make maps for RPGVXAce. I have seen many people do it but never new how they did it. I am just curious, I haven't the skill to do that myself.
