I have no idea where this one came from, and so fast too! Start to finish in about 3 days!Dark background added in PS cos I thought it looked better.

This is so beautiful, great colours. The edges of the eye actually remind me of a venus fly trap. I dont want you to think I'm too weird, but you could so do a Freudian reading of this piece.

Thats interesting. The symbolism I see is very similar.
The lotuses are very feminine, and so is the 'goddess' shape in the butterfly's body. The eyes represent the deeper meanings, the third eye, finding the sight, seeing clearly. The butterfly represents air and the mind, so she is freedom of mind. The eye image in the background is there as the vesica pisces, which yes, also happens to represent the female genitalia somewhat! but i like that about it.
Maybe this is all about giving birth to new ideas, new thoughts and new visions. That would make sense with where i am in life right now.
I love looking into symbolism, and although i get clear ideas of the image i want to create, it's not untill afterwards i can interpret what it may mean.
