Legend says a brave Houndoom journeyed across scorching mountians and jagged seas in search for a lost jewel. This sacred treasure was thought to grant any wish the user desired.The treasure was protected by a powerful guardian. Nobody knows who the guardian is or what it may look. But Houdoom defeated it in battle and obtained the jewel.
Once in Houndoom's possession, he made a wish to bring his lover back to life. However, the treasure could not grant such a wish and therefore, Houndoom destroyed the jewel. Till this day, Houndoom has never been seen again.

Oof, I feel bad for the Houndoom. I always hate when you can grant "any" wish, but cannot grant a wish to have a friend/parent/neighbor/etc. back to life. If the wish says you can grant "ANYTHING", then they should meant "ANYTHING". Geez, this word is a curse.
Anyways, nice job drawing this and it's always nice to see the backstory of that legend!
