I'm not into the series. Not because I think its 'evil', its because I think its boring.

And that's alright ^^ I know not everyone likes Harry Potter, this was mainly directed to those who think it's 'evil' or 'sinful' to read.

Indeed -__- I believe God wants us to enjoy life: Not worry about things all the time. I know magic isn't real so it's not like I'm out practicing it after watching/reading this stuff :/

Exactly, I had a cousin that got disowned for reading Harry potter. And my folks disagreed fervently with that

Disowned? That's not right: If he loves it then he loves it. It doesn't mean you're 'Satanic' for reading that stuff and I know plenty of fellow Christians who are good people that enjoyed the series and other books/films that some people would find 'Unchristian like' -__- KPop is even considered 'satanic' now the heck?

It's a book about magic, witches etc. and the Bible forbids those things, so... you're clearly a Harry Potter fan in denial. I'll see you in Hell <3

I don't think it's a sin to like Harry Potter, but taking the obsession with that series too far is kind of annoying and creepy. I mean, there are people who claim Draco, Hermione and Snape are real people and that Hogwarts is a real place and want to go there. Wow...just wow. It's just fantasy people. If people cannot distinguish fantasy from reality, they need to get help.

Yeah I'm cool with fans loving it, but, I think people should be mature enough to know that magic doesn't exist and the characters are all fictional. Sure sometimes I have dreams about that but I know the difference with simply dreams/imagination and reality.

I think she stated that she was, but apparently some people don't find her 'Christian enough' because of what she writes *sighs*

I know .___. Heck some are even calling KPop/Jrock 'evil' now it's like the heck? I believe God wants us to enjoy life and not worry so much ^^ After all he's the only one who can judge right? So where do those radical ones get off telling other people what they can or cannot do? Yes I read fictional books or watch movies that involve witch craft: But that does not mean I go out and practice it because I know full well the difference with fantasy and reality.
We're supposed to bring people closer to Christianity, not drive them away from it. I've been judged for liking things others deem as 'sinful' but they are what make me happy. You don't have to like them but I do. I don't judge what they like.

Exactly!
Only God is perfect, therefore only God should judge. All men are created equal and we need to love thy neighbor as thyself. Not, love thy neighbor as thyself unless they do things you think are wrong.

Amen! It's funny how some people say 'We're all equal' yet go around judging others. I get judging is in human nature, we all pre judge people at some point but even so it's not an excuse to be a jerk or anything about it to the person. Just because a person loves Harry Potter doesn't mean they practice witch craft.

Wow that guy...is not right in the head -__- I don't care much for Pokemon anymore but what he said about it being 'evil' is completley out of whack. It's just a cartoon and a video game series lighten up.

True, True, Holy true
But, seriously: true
My firend is Christain too, but she doesn't like harry Potter series. It's not her type of books just, but does she say something bad? No, she accepts it.
.3.
I personally believe in scary things. But yeah, i had heard some bad opinion about that series ;w;
Let me tell you that I hesitated reading hentai manga ;w;
Well, my first hentai i ever red was at 14 February 2010 . There were 3 years passed since i read hentai, I thought it a sin. But what? I stayed calm and nothing happened. Though, it wasn't official manga, but doujinshi, but still... I don't like stereotypes, so if someone say there is a sin because you read I shrug at him/her off . See the similarity?
And, i tell you the pretty true.
and for the third time: I am agree with you~

Well I"m glad that you're friend doesn't bash it ^^
Yeah I mean, you know me I read and write a LOT of yaoi/shounen ai and guess what: Nothing bad happened. I seriously do not believe someone will go to hell for reading Harry Potter or reading yaoi/yuri. I have an aunt who won't even let my cousin bring the Harry Potter books in her house he has to read them somewhere else not even out side -__-

Oh, I see you know these problems.
About atheists : my friend from usa is atheist but she is nicer than no one of chritians from my town I know. that atheic person
the second: about homophobe -> I wanted to talk about that exactly. I have homophobes in family v.v But I don't think I will change my mind. Though I know I'll not change that person 's mind ;w;
did you hear about "All old and strict tradition people don't prefer modern tradition (dates in young age, clubs, alcohols, talking to boys) " All American are rude and mean" . I'd tell you that isnot true, because it's not depends on land you live but it depends on what kind of person you are.
Or did you hear " If I didn't do it in your age, it means it's bad and it's a sin" <- counts as a stereotype as well.
that example I told you (I have the same in my family and it sometimes is kind of hard to bear with, but I just shrug at that person off... even if it's my mom XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD)
But , all i said it's true. I just tried to say: no matter what people are, you have to shrug at them, because they are not so strong to make you change your mind.
I am pansexual, but does something is wrong? No, it doesn't mean I am sick, I am just open-minded
But well, we never will could change homophobes .

Yeah ^^ Being pansexual, bi-sexual, homosexual etc does not make a person disgusting it's perfectly normal in my opinion. And that's true: I sometimes meet atheist that are nicer than most christians I know.

what about if mom(my for example) acts bipolar? like she doesn't like me talking about boys, but last tiem my dad asked me what would I do if a boy invited me to the cinema and I replied " I'd reject him" . it' s because i wanna study as long as I can.
then mom and dad got mad and told that it'd be rude and I have to think about situations liek that :.w.
it's a pure example of bipolar parents ;w;
It's uncomfortable, really.
and well, I talked to boys.. but they got confused so easy, so I think better if I don't try to talk to them, it's even not desired at my home. it's a taboo topics :')

well, there is moment where parents have to accept that their kids have interests in another ones . But well, if concern about my parents it's very... complicated. so that always : " you are too young (19) for boys" and then suddenly " how would react when boy ask you to go to cinema" i answered "i'd reject" because I don't see that situation ,and I tried to show themmy uninterest, but then they were very shocked ;w; So, here as you they acted very bipolar v.v

Well, and sorry for making you confuse, I didn't want to, now you learnt new things about meh *rolls out*
