For better version (w/ background) please visit: [link]Doing a bit of realism, and I am rather liking it. Strangely its kind of easy for me. Didn't take me long to do picture above at all. Why him? Long story...
But expect more of him and other realism work too.
Sorry its smudgy and all... I did two thirds in about an hour or two... then had to stop and couldn't get back to it until a while later... So it smudged over time... WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN! And note to others to finish on the spot and get the spray stuff to help it.
It used to be a rich dark too... Then... it smudged... Another reason to finish on the day. Well all in pencil except color parts. Thought it would be more interesting to have the blue and gold. Did edit the background a bit in PS. Looked better on paper but scanned... *sigh*

Sigh....yes...the scanner---try a photo program that has a enhance feature on it....that usually darkens up my pencil sketches...hava fiddle with contrast too after you've done the enhancing..but not too much...I usually keep the contrast between 1 & 10. (B4 submitting!!)
Now....OMFG that is goddam sexy HOT awesome....*overcome with epic pic*

Well...Roxula is good looking...here in the group we tend to go overboard on that subject because we worship him sooooo much (& I guess we are all older ^w^)
Maybe u mite put up a warning in ur journal like some DA members have re wot u feel comfortable drawing & comments?? Like when u submit a pic, just put in the notes, keep the comments civil plz, I have parents as moderators (or somethn like that)

lookn for in the search bit. Only, it takes a bit of time to look at them all

Oh God. This is BEAUTIFUL.
You should invest in sprayable fixatives, they fix all the smudging problems. They're usually at Michaels or a local art shop. Make sure you spray outside so you don't inhale a whole hell of the stuff.
