Three for each sponson (two bolters, lascannon) = 6...
Two for the hull-mounted heavy bolter next to the Battle Cannon (8+1=9 so far)...
Two for the turret (main cannon and co-axial autocannon)... = 11...
And a pintle-mounted heavy stubber. Twelve.

Wouldn't surprise me - Imperial equipment of equal size or larger than land raiders tend to have "machine spirits" which act a little like AIs.

Well, you can tell that I didn't like the normal cannon muzzle that was on the battle cannon to begin with, so it was a simple saw and glue. the muzzle is from the Hellhammer cannon.

I know, as you may have noticed... but that was balsa wood.
I have yet to lay my hands on some plasticard. Balsa actually works pretty well...until you realize you need more internal bracing and something to cover it with. D:

I would agree with the balsa wood - I recall making a Warthog from Halo out of a 3x3x12 block of the stuff. nice to work with but a pain to fix after it's been chipped.

I'm kind of sticking with the old Guard Codex for my IG armies right now. Although I have 2 Leman Russ tanks (one's a vanquisher variant from Forge World) and a Baneblade, I still like the idea of normal human commandos going in and taking out the objective (enter the stormtrooper.)

That's pretty much what IG doctrines entail as well. Grenadiers means that you can take 0-3 stormtrooper squads as Troops choices, Cameoline means that your troops get +1 to their cover saves, Light Infantry allows your squads to have a sniper rifle in place of a heavy weapon... It's restrictive like the chapter traits, but a lot of fun to have specialist forces.

what makes my chapter, "spesial"
is that thier chapter master Gajran is praised over all. he is (in thier eyes) more then any primach have ever been, some belives he is even greater then the Emperor, and that Gajran is thier leder. the Emperor is thier to guide us, not to lead us,
they say.
but thier history in it self im not sure of yet,
something about several ultramarines companys under the horus heresy, being destroyed in a great mutating firestorm upon the the planet "Ronnevata" 3 (now a dead world), by some thausend sons sorcoror, only a handful of marines ever reachs the sorceror, and thier captain killing him.
this handful became the chapters 1st company, and its former captain became Gajran.
the planet Ronnevata 6 a feral world, now thier homeworld, the planet is orbitet by an artifical moon, witch serves as a great ship-yeard and space hive, and of course the chapters Star Fort, the "Star Child" orbits the planet, wacthing for new recruits and such.

What I actually meant was in how to write up a unit background. Victortky did go overboard in his chapter profile with the planetary system the KoT held station and the armament of half of the chapter, but the idea of tactics, history, unit chemistry and notable members was what I was hinting at within the profile.
Personally, I'd like to know how this chapter of yours operates; unit compositions, armament... even whether they follow the Codex Astartes or their own doctrine.

oh sorry i got it all wrong then.
_______________________________________________________________
well the "Blades Of Gajran" are a ultramarines succesor chapter.
they follow the Codex Astartes, and the wise words of Guilliman.
however if Gajran says something else, it is to be followd even if it goes agienst the Codex Astartes.
Armerments, well as said ultramarines succesor chapter they follow the same company compinations,
gene seeds: all of thier gene seeds are intact.
but the high lords can't figure out why they are so devotet to thier chapter master,
some belive Gajran to be a Saint.
or that his gene seed have mutatet by the Sorcceror mutating firestorm 10000 years ago.
Gajran apears like no ohter Chapter Master, klad in a huge Golden armor, a clock as red as a sea of blood.
hair as snow white, glowing yellow eyes, and an shining iron halo. he has actully ben recorded seeing him flout over the battlefeild.
but the greatets artifact of the chapter is the
Blade Of Gajran, his personal weapon.
this weapon was one of Magnus the Reds gifts from the Mecanicum
a weapon unlike any other.
the Blade was retrived form Hoven seven by Captian Mafoni
(The Captian i use wen i play i call Mafoni)

If I may speak frankly, Gajran looks to me like he's the Star Child (the Emperor Incarnate) and therefore a Mary Sue character. It's one thing to have free roam when designing characters, but it's another to make an all-powerful-god-like being that's not completely divine.
Just as a heads up. No harsh words intended.

sorry maby i spoke to great of Gajran, i now what you mean,
but i dident say he was an godlike being, i know it is s bit to much, the way that many things are riden in warhammer.
EX: many space marine heros are desrcipet very powerfull characters, even doth they are not very strong,
and well i thought that this idear might be quit new.
having a living saint as chapter master,
so do i, talking about a great hero.
but he's not more powerfull than any chapter master.
also why i keep my captains so simple, they don't have any gaint clocks or banners on thier shoulders, or plasma weapons,
hell Mafoni just has a strom bolter and power sword,
space marines are best wen they are simple, but i also wantet to have one such being of great power as the only one of the chapter, not to make it too simple
and this all mighty weapon of his is a peacie of wargear you can get in apocalypse,
i have intentet to make Gajran as a model and use this upgread for apoc battels.
the rules are just a chapter master with some upgreads and that apoc wargear.

he looks like the Star Chiled???

you don't impress me.
i knew all that,
i asked what you mean by looking like the Star Chiled?
i was corius if ther was a Pict of him.
I too spendt time in the black libary (metaforrecly speaking)
Liber Chaotica
Dark Heresy
1-5 horus heresy
all the codexes and rulebooks
(yes i have a copy of evrey codex and have read them all)
legion of the dammned slaves of darkness
the tomb of corruption
and much more.
and i know anything about Chaos, and all its glory.
_____________________________________________________
the idear about Gajran is that he is not that powerfull or wise
he is more or less as good as any Chapter Master,
it's just the marines have such great faint in him that he appearce so great.
that and he has a badass weapon
