The final image of Dr. Seuss reading to the story book characters. Composition and idea credited to Bridget Lyons @Bkylons. My first team up project! Had a awesome time with this one, different and outta my comfort zone. by the end of the weekend I was getting more comfortable with Dr. Seuss style. This was also createdwith a slight 3D skew allowing for a 3D perspective. We encouraged kids to sit on the ledge to be apart of the reading.
Final size: 12ft x 14ft
About 10 hours
Done on on sidewalk concrete
Materials: Koss Soft Pastels, Mountain Vision Pastels

ok that's interesting and good to know. But your art are too beautiful to just fade away, I think you should start doing permanent graffiti art on the walls instead

well, that's the beauty of chalk art, going into it knowing its temporary. Teaching you the art of letting go and to be free with it. When you do permanent work, the art work controls more of your decisions.
Its good to do both, but I will stress that there are many hidden lessons in chalk art that can't be learned by watching, you just have to do it.
